Lanetta Schatz

Went to work for Dillions while still in High School. Worked there full time for 20 years all the while doing college classes. I called it the long program took me forever but in 2004 graduated with a degree in Computer Programing. Left Dillons in 1997 and did contract work for Dillons and other jobs, ended up working for Sedgwick County Elections office in 2000. Stayed there for 6 years and then moved to Omaha. It was a lot like Wichita, only with hills and a lot more SNOW! I worked for a software company. If you live in Sedgwick County and you vote you use the equipment manufactured by the company worked for. In 2013 I left Omaha and moved to Cary, NC. I now work for MetLife, hang out at the beach on the weekends!

Some of the best times were "rat racing" in the old bridgeport area. Also hanging out with the insane part of the Jazz and Pep Band! Which also is related to my worst memory, breaking my ankle during the State Championship game at the yet unopend Northwest Highschool. Five broken bones and a dislocation. Still feel it every now an then!

Run into a few people now and again. Have a lot of friends from the classes of 1980 and 81. Those band people were always good for a party or two!
